Let's see if I remember from the movie War Games...1 is "Nuclear War Happening" and 5 is "Nothing on the Horizon."

I'd say we should be at 4...and only for the reason that lets us fly in formation just on the southern edge of the border, move missile batteries into the area, and show off our toys.

Seriously, at this point I think Kim's entire plan revolves around him, a match, and a roman candle that he's convinced his population is a 50 megaton warhead.

North Korea is the internet troll version of the international diplomacy.

Now that movie brings back memories.......I say Defcon 3 "Yellow" minimum.

really? They have zero military infrastructure beyond massing 250,000 troops, a quarter with thirty year old rifles, on a border and yelling charge.

I simply refuse to take them seriously. The sheer destruction that could be wrought upon them in moments would be stunning to see.

Even if Kim has the rocket to launch, I'm thinking of another movie title..."Failure to Launch"..I'm sure they will not know how to push the plunger to get it to fire...lol

We didn't take Bin Laden or Al Quaeda seriously before 9/11 either. We are in a world now where we have to take everything seriously. He's not moving these missles to the coast for show. He just may be crazy enough to fire them...and even if they cannot hit our country, he could hit an ally, Japan, bringing us there.
