If you and everyone else here cared more about protecting and defending our liberties
I am thankful for the liberties we have in the United States. (and those not in the US, please comment on your country).
Would it be the end of the world - if we lost our liberty - or would it make us stronger Christians?
James 1:2 , “Count it all joy when you fall into various trials.” If you were to tell that to someone who never had read the Bible, they probably would think that you were crazy to make such a statement. “Count it all joy” when we have bad things happen to us?! How can we “count it all joy” when terrible things happen to us? It is not that we have to have a big smile on our faces when terrible things happen to us. Rather, it is that we are able to find joy in times of trouble.
It has been said there are cycles of time:
“From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.”
I think this song sums up my Faith
"I Know Who Holds Tomorrow"
