Oh, it's definitely a hyperbolic characterization of his positions. But a guy running to be president of a country that spends almost twice as much money as it takes in from taxes must be engaging in a little demagoguery of his own when he promises a plethora of new freebies.

The demagogue label is a knife that cuts both ways.
