Democrat introducing impeachment measure against Trump on first day of new Congress

A California congressman is introducing articles of impeachment against President Trump on Thursday -- the first day of the new Democratic majority in the House.

Rep. Brad Sherman is reintroducing the impeachment articles that he first filed in 2017 with Democratic co-sponsor Rep. Al Green of Texas, a spokesman said.

“He will be introducing the same articles he introduced last year once the House is in session this afternoon,” Sherman spokesman Shane Seaver told Fox News.

The move is one of several indications that despite the go-slow approach of Democratic leadership, some in the rank-and-file will be eager to launch impeachment proceedings now that they're in the majority. A Detroit Free Press op-ed co-authored by incoming Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, of Michigan, said the House does not need to wait for the outcome of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe "before moving forward now with an inquiry in the U.S. House of Representatives on whether the president has committed impeachable 'high crimes and misdemeanors' against the state: abuse of power and abuse of the public trust."

With any luck and lots of praying. Maybe the Dems will be busted wide open for what they truly stand for. Corruption at it's best.

The Democrat Party used to stand for America and the Constitution, now it wants to destroy them both. The Party of Harry Truman and JFK is no more, it is nothing less than a rabid group of radicals bent on undermining our nation - they are truly the enemy from within.

I personally have not been very "into" politics until a few years ago, but IMHO, the demise of the dims (& country) began somewhere in the late 50s -early 60s with the beginning of throwing GOD out of the public eye.
We, as Christians, stayed silent thru all this, so we are as much, if not more, to blame for the situation today than the enemy & his minions!
To me it's obvious that the only recourse we have is that each of us as an individual Christian live a life becoming a Christian AND continuous prayer for our leaders to be led by Him, either knowingly OR un-knowingly!!

There’s a certain dumbing down that also seems to have occurred, even before that time, making it easier to accept Darwinism, Marxism, Freudianism. With changes in demographics and the increasing affluence, it was that much easier to officially dismiss God, the Bible, and prayer from public life. Some feel they don’t need God when they seem to have everything else. Oh, how wrong can you be!

There used to be a quote that was logical on the surface, at least in "liberal think", that seems to have really taken root in modern society;
  • WHY STUDY?
  • "The more you study, the more you know;
  • The more you know the more you forget;
  • The more you forget, the less you know;
  • The less you know, the less you forget;
  • The less you forget, the more you know;
  • So, why study?"

Considering the apparent time spent by college "students(?)" protesting, they seem to be quite literally adhering to this concept.

Another quote that seems to fit modern "scholars(??)" is: "He has been educated beyond his intelligence!"

Oh, I think the Democratic Party wants to impeach Trump instinctively, but the smarter, saner ones still know better than to throw out a duly elected president just because they don't like him. And there's the Senate, some of the loonier leftists think the GOP senators don't like Trump, so they may "help" them.

No, no way - Pelosi had better find a way to tape their mouths shut before they provoke another civil war. Make a bunch of committees to investigate anything Republican to distract them and watch what they are saying to all their pals in the MSM. I wondered if they would still harp on Trump tax returns, I'd love to see Nancy's.
