Democrats in Iowa, using a voting app ordered by the Iowa Democratic Party and designed by Democrats, failed in spectacular fashion on Monday to conduct the first-in-the-nation caucuses to ultimately decide the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee.

But wait. The Democrats aren’t to blame. Apparently, President Trump is.

“It might be helpful to have a President and government that understand technology so this sort of thing doesn’t happen,” candidate Andrew Yang wrote on Twitter.

Oh good grief! It was a tech company run by former Obama and Clinton staffers that set it all up. They have no one to blame but themselves, so perhaps DNC leader Tom Perez and some of the Iowa DNC folks should take responsibility.

Well, of course, everything is Trump's fault.

New Details Show How Deeply Iowa Caucus App Developer Was Embedded in Democratic Establishment
Tara McGowan is denying that her high-profile liberal firm ACRONYM played a role in the Monday evening caucus debacle, claiming that her firm was merely an investor in the company Shadow Inc...
McGowan is married to Michael Halle, a senior strategist with the Buttigieg campaign.
...previous statements and internal Acronym documents suggest that the two companies, which share office space in Denver, Colorado, are deeply intertwined.
Shadow was launched by former staffers to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, including Niemira, Krista Davis, Ahna Rao, and James Hickey, according to professional biographies listed on LinkedIn.

The article includes some good Twitter comments, but the picture says it best—Andrew Yang is clearly out to lunch.

Twitter users had a field day with Yang’s post.

“You want President Trump to step in and fix this mess for the Dem party? I’m sure he’d love to be asked,” wrote one user.

“It might be helpful to have a President who understands the President doesnt have anything to do with that,” wrote another.
