Question to those that support a "fairness doctrine". Should the "fairness" extend to religious stations? Should Christian radio stations be forced to have an opposing view point? After the Gospel message is given, should they have to have someone give an account of atheism, islam, hinduism, buddism, and sikhism?

I would put Bush behind Washington, Lincoln, Reagan, and possibly Truman. He kept the country safe from terrorists for seven years, something Clinton could or would not do.

We are talking about two different mediums here. I was referring to the Communist (fairness) doctrine which is going to be brought up again. Apparently you do not know but it applies to radio. Somehow or another you got off track and began talking about T.V.

The airwaves - AM and FM radio and television channels 2-13 ad the UHF channels(if they still exist) on television belong to the public - which is what this debate concerns. I have no problem with the Fairness doctrine applying to those airwaves owned by the public.

OK...so...since the government owns the road, no free speech allowed near it. And since the government owns the courthouse, library, and municipal buildings, you can't have free speech there.

Sorry, but it was implemented in 1949, and applied to both TV and radio. So did the Equal Time Rule.
