I have a friend who is a member of the BB and this Major volunteered to be re-deployed to Iraq.

I also have a grandson who is in boot camp right now with the probability of going to Iraq.

I am involved with a Boy Scout Troop who sends care packages to the soldiers over their and we get letters all the time from the soldiers (enlisted and officers alike) and none of them want to come home until their job is finished...

They also send pictures with their arms around Iraqis and also of Iraqi children hugging them.

That was back in the '80's, and all of that was destroyed after the first Gulf War.

That is the lie that Hussein was caught in. It hasn't been that long ago that he was given a certain amount of time to get rid of them and he still didn't.

    That's why we're there.

You don't seriously believe anything a terrorist says do you?

No, the proof lies in the fact that we haven't found anything. As the talk show host Lionel points out, this is not a case of we didn't find anywhere near the amount of WMD, this is a case of we didn't find anything at all.

We knew where he was, and we had him contained.

BTW, back when he did indeed use WMD, he was our ally, remember?

There are spiritual and demonic forces involved in the confusion, conflicts, and the affairs of governments and peoples around the world today.

Our own country (or people in government agencies involved with agenda setting) have deceived our people by false flags to coerc us into conflicts and wars. Deception is a tool of the devil, very evil, and no people are completely immune from the havoc, distrust, and confusion it produces.

There are people in high places who really don't like people: They have money and power as their gods. People are just resources to use on the chess board as they make their gains towards checkmate. This is great evil. You can find it in some of their writings i.e. Jacque Costo (sp?) Rockerfeller: You can find it in some of focus of some of their ideas 'sustainable development' which are popular by words: You can find it in some of their motivation for profit....... they will encourage a drug like aspartane or flouride with the knowledge and data hidden that these are known toxins: They will develop a vaccine, such as anthrax, and impose it on our soldiers, but not disclose the truth.... that it is type specific, and most likely will not be effective if exposed to another type of anthrax ....... and if held to be effective..... how was it 'they' knew which 'type' to vaccinate for? how about the HPV vaccine? If it is so good, why not vaccinate both boys and girls so that immunity is universal...... but it is also a 'type' specific vaccine which neglects causesative infections for cancer more than it addresses and controls one.... and at what risk is the vaccine? And why the silence from our 'moral' leaders on the infanticide and abortions and family control practiced in China. Is it because here we allow our own program of abortion to continue on demand? How can we be a real ally of Israel, and still give more financial aid and supply weapons to their enemies..... or is the 'evil' infecting our own government through the influences of business, economics, and bribery for power and self-gain?

Not necessarily true, and quoting all the liberal, anti-Bush sites you want won't establish this as truth, nor change the fact that the evidence presented in the media is neither complete, unbiased, or even accurate.

    Do you remember these stories?

-Evidence of chemical weapons is found in some medium-range missiles (longer range than Saddam was allowed by sanctions). The chemicals seem to have been removed only a few months before (after the UN deadline).

-Both military jets and helicopters are found buried in the sand, ruining them, but effectively hiding them. What else is buried?

-Remember the truck that was at first thought to contain chemicals for weapons and later tests seemed to reveal it had an entirely different purpose? About two weeks later, an identical truck was found with chemical weapons traces. This received very little media coverage.

-Near the beginning of the war, a roadside bomb was found loaded with Sarin, a nerve agent commonly used in chemical wmd's. The critics of the war have only found one defense to this finding: there is no proof that it came from Iraq and that it was not imported by terrorists. Hmm. Well, when you find an active weapon inside a country, I think it is fair to hold that country responsible. We have no proof that many of the former Soviet Union's nuclear missiles were not imported by terrorists as well, but we held them responsible for stockpiling them in the cold war. :p

-Two Iraqi men were caught riding around in a taxi with a cardboard box containing weapons grade uranium for sale on the black market. We may not know where this uranium came from (though I've heard the chemical makeup of it can be traced to its source), but the fact that both men were Iraqis should not be overlooked.

-Multiple Iraqi deserters, some in very high ranking positions, claim that Saddam had chemical wmd's and was trying to obtain nukes.

These stories were all reported by major media sources but most quickly vanished with no retractions. Now these stories are hard to research beyond simple pages on small web sites and blogs. Things were suspiciously hush hush on some of them. Were any of them true, or even partially true? We don't know. Stories vanish. Information and misinformation are blended, their threads twisted into one rope of public perception, manipulated by those that have the power and interest to manipulate them to, say, attack the current administration.

No, stockpiles were not found, we are told, at least none that have been reported to the media. We should be very careful in assuming that the media presents accurate information fairly, and that the media has all the knowledge of what was found. There are strategic reasons for keeping the information out of the media if wmd's were found.

I was against the invasion whether Saddam had wmd's or not. But saying definitively that he had no wmd's at all is, imo, further than we should go, still unproven, and borders on misinformation used by enemies of the current administration.

Your reading comprehension needs some work. By "most," I am referring to the people with whom I have had experience, nothing more. I went out of my way to clarify that point.
