1. Eric Swalwell wants to the federal government to buy back any "assault" rifle, by which he may mean any rifle with a magazine. I think that he will allow you to keep your blunderbuss. If you try to hide your rifle and are caught with it, you will go to prison. The buy back would be mandatory.
2. Bernie Sanders now thinks that the federal government should ban "assault" rifles, also, instead of the states. Under pressure from Swalwell he endorsed the idea of a buy back.
3. Corrie Booker wants to force everyone to have a license to have a gun. This too would be in violation of the US Constitution but the Dems are not offering a constitutional amendment.
4. Kamala Harris thinks that guns are only for hunting but admits she did not use a gun when she wrecked Willie Brown's home. She will issue executive orders if Congress does not severely restrict gun rights in 100 days. She also wants to ban the importation of "assault" weapons.
5. Robert O'Rourke, the Irishman, wants to ban all weapons of war or military weapons. I suppose that you could no longer buy the relatively new Army pistol, the M17, and all other pistols like it, which would be most of them. The 1911 would be a weapon of war as well as some Colts from the 19th century.
6. Elizabeth Warren, the white lady, wants to study things more. Well, it has been shown that the worst violence is black on black and that white violence is below average. Another reason for the high crime rate is that the mental hospitals have been closed and all of the mental patients are homeless and on the streets except those who have been arrested and put in prison--something that might have been avoided if there were hospitals for the sick. She also advocates the ban of "the weapons of war." One solution to Chicago is to ask the average citizen to buy a gun and carry it in order to defend himself from the gangs. Chicago has strict gun control and a high murder rate. Indianapolis has a high murder rate but you can buy a gun in Indiana and get a lifetime permit to carry if you have a clean record.
