How about if we, Texans, decide to leave this cesspool of a Union? Would Texas matter then?
I hope everyone understands that Republicans have only themselves to blame for our current Democratic victories. The first two years Trump was President, the Republicans had control of the house, senate, and President. Instead of taking advantage, the Republicans wanted to show Trump who was boss and fought him in all that he was trying to do.
Now the ball is in the Democrats court. Let the Republicans take notes on what you should do when you have the majority. Republicans make me sick. They have no guts. No courage. They are just looking to keep their job. And they have sold out the true Americans in the process.

You don’t get it. They are going to pass it through the House and send it to the Senate before January 20. They do not want Trump/Pence at the Inauguration. They want the White House fumigated and the contents burned before Biden goes in.
They won by cheating and they know it.
But the Senate will never convict - they would need at least 17 Republicans to vote for convitction.
Of Course, I would not put it past the Dems to try to impeach Trump - even after he leaves office.
I think that they will have the impeachment papers through by Friday. They will shut down this board if we continue to say that Biden won by fraud.

Saying that a paragon of honesty, decency, moral fortitude, and patriotism, who has selflessly served the public good for nigh half a century under the auspices of a party of similar virtue, might have gained the presidency through corrupt means may be worthy of censor in a totalitarian state. But since Biden is none of that, the Dem Party is the opposite of that, and our country is not yet that, it would be a decidedly unworthy maneuver, and thus quite in line with Dems, RINOs, and those consumed with TDS, who would, given the chance, assuredly place us in such a state. So, let me say now, before it's too late, that it's been nice knowing "you guys." It was good while it lasted.

This is all very sad indeed! The Dems wasted so much time and money the first time round in their false "impeachment", which got nowhere because the "charges" were FALSE. Now they want this all over again? How is this even allowed? While I am not a big fan of Trump, I do believe that he did much good for the US, and the Lord was using him for His purposes, like abortion. He is also more favourable with Evangelicals. I think that the forces of darkness have sadly "won" with Biden/Harris, which will be a huge disaster for the US. A very sad time for your country.
The Dems have decided that impeachment can be done on political grounds alone. They are angry because Trump said that the election was fraudulent. One of the Capitol Police shot and killed a veteran in cold blood.
If the Republicans win the House in ‘22, they should impeach Biden for his financial dealings with the CCP and the Chinese military as well as his confessed active role in the Ukraine for his personal financial gain.
We are not allowed to say that the election was fraudulent, although the whole world knows that it was.
Thank goodness, The founding fathers were very wise to make the conviction for an impeachment at 2/3 of the Senate.

Perhaps the choice is hard for Pence, but he is finished either way. He knows the election corruption was never investigated, but will not want to be thought sympathetic to the Capitol break-in. Which way would the media paint him should he not attend?
