Hi to all , and I have found 3 people that kept the Law , but we all know that the Law of Mose or what is called the Old Covenant has passed away , NOR am I suggesting that the Law is to be KEPT today , because we are all under Grace today , Eph 2:8 , and 9 .

But in Luke 1;5 , Zacharias and Elisabeth and in verse 6 says , that they were both Righteous before God , walking in all the Commandments of the Law , B L A M E L E S S .

And there are many that Disparge the Apostle Paul and call him the WORST of sinners .

But in Phil 3:5-6 , Paul is a Pharisee , concerning zeal , persecuting the EKKLESIA/ASSEMBLY , touching the righteouness which is in the LAW ,
B L A M E L E S S .
Came across this in my study a couple of weeks ago and very interesting .

That does not mean that they kept the law of God in the sight of God, but in the sight of man. Paul will be the first to tell you that he is a violator of the law. He, and Luke, were referencing the way man reckoned keeping the law. Jesus, however, told us in Matthew 5 that God reckons things differently. For instance, man thinks that as long as you haven't physically committed adultery you haven't broken that commandment. Jesus says that if you have ever looked on a woman in lust, you have broken it in your heart. I dare say no man outside of Jesus has ever truly kept that commandment.

Yes. If so, that guy's toes must hurt, as it was on stone tablets.

David was a man after God's own heart, not a man after his friend's own hearts.

That doesn't mean David kept God's law. He didn't. He committed adultery in the flesh with a woman that then murdered her husband. David did, however, strive to live godly in this present world. So did Moses, so did Zacharias and Elisabeth, so did Joseph and Mary, so did many others in the scriptures. They had their failings. We all do. But they kept on going. The fact is all these people are examples of living by faith not by the works of the law.

The only man to ever keep God's law without spot or blemish is Jesus Christ. He kept it for us. He wrought out everlasting righteousness. This has been freely given by grace to us and is how we stand before God holy and without blame.
