    Thanks. I guess I would, to some degree, find it "acceptable" or "unacceptable" according to whether a person read the Bible and gave a biblical explanation for thinking that (even if I didn't agree with it), or whether a person was just trying to explain away the events. In my own personal experience, people who have attempted a natural events explanation of the Exodus events didn't really believe it happened the way God said it did anyway.
