Did Hitler actually commit suicide?

Pretty sure he is dead now, but a trial and execution might have been better. The suicide story might have been dreamed up hoping to stop any attempts to turn him into a martyr.
I remember seeing a show on TV that tried to show the body was moved several times, and not taken to Russia, at least not for a few years. This might be one of those things we never know for sure what happened.

I was watching a TV show tonight -(History channel, I think) and that is the point the the host was trying to make - currently there is no one alive to confirm anything.

No, and toward the end of his life he lived next door John and Marilyn Kennedy.

At 4 p.m., Erich Kempka, Hitler’s longtime chauffeur, carried Braun’s body outside of the bunker and into the garden behind the Reich Chancellery—the same place where Hitler made his last public appearance, awarding the Hitler Youth boys medals.
“I turned over Eva Braun’s body to Günsche and he laid it down next to Hitler’s corpse,” said Kempka. “We then picked up the cans and poured gasoline over both bodies.”
