did Jesus "have" To Come Via the Virgin Birth?

Even within the context of my post? Would that have made him all man?

Well the other issue would be God’s requirement.....
Isaiah 7:14
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, of David. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Did he have that power before the resurrection?

I find this interesting also when taken in context with what he asked and was said above.

For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Trying to figure out what you are saying? That Jesus had a human father? Or just adding to the conversation?

Mainly adding to the conversation. I do not know that if Mary had been a widow lets say that would have meant Jesus would have been born in sin.
I also think by being conceived in the egg of a virgin he was born without blemish nor spot, however he was born, did come in the flesh, not the spirit as distinguished one from the other in John 3. That being flesh and blood meant he had to be changed to inherit the promises made to Abraham and his one seed the Christ.

That change plus dying for sinful man was the sum total purpose for his incarnation which required regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit which led to Holy Spirit being shed on us through Jesus the Christ.

BTW no he did not have a human father. He was conceived/begotten of the Spirit God.

That's what I figured you meant. But if Mary had been a widow, she wouldn't have been a virgin, unless of course, he died during the ceremony...

Well for prophecy reasons she had to be a virgin.

Correct. That's the reason. Some try to say to stop the sin nature, but that's not true. It has no biblical grounds, but it does have some logical grounds. However, Jesus was God and took on flesh, that's the big difference of Jesus having a sin nature or not.

The virgin birth was a sign of the Messiah coming. "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."

So yes, Jesus had to be born of a virgin because that's how God said it would happen.

Could he still been messiah IF born naturally?
If the question is, could He still have been divine? Yes. Incorruptible? Yes. God? Yes.

Could he have still been Messiah? Only if it were never prophesied that Messiah would be born of a virgin.

This has always fascinated me. How could Jesus, born of a sinful human being, not have inherited her sinful nature?

A couple of observations push me in one direction. The scriptures are clear that we inherit Adam's sin. Not Eve's sin.

Now, here's Deut 5:9
You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me...

Why not the sins of the mothers?

I know a lot of people have dismissed it, but Dr. M. R. DeHaan's Chemistry of the Blood answers these questions. You can easily find his writing on the internet.

It is Dr. DeHaan's contention that the sinful nature is passed down through the father. Since Jesus had no earthly father, he could not have inherited a sinful nature.

As to the OP, the obvious answer is, Yes, Jesus had to be born of a virgin because that's what God decided.

What do you think? Do you think that sin is carried in the blood cells, or is it something spiritual?

of course medically speaking, no blood is transferred between parents and child. The child produces his own blood.
