Did Judas Have a Family?

The Apostle Peter in Acts 1:20 cites Psalm 109:8 as referring to Judas, the disciple who betrayed Christ.

The next verse in Psalm 109 ("Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow" [109:9]) would seem to indicate that this person had a wife and children. Is this also referring to Judas?

If so, do we know anything about the wife and children of Judas beyond what Psalm 109 says about them?

Psa. 109 isn't about Judas specifically, it's about asking God's help in protecting the righteous man from his enemies.

The death of Judas and his replacement within the Twelve is an application.

Can he be saved? Scripture points to him being lost?

Also his death is a bit mixed too, did he hang himself or did his guts spill out, I go for the latter myself.

==I don't know why we should. Sorry to be "cold" but Judas has been in his place for over 2,000 years now and "feeling" sorry for him is doing nobody any good. We should look at Judas and learn the hard lesson of Matthew 7:21-23. We should see his life as a warning.

After much research, it has been determined that Judas had two parents, and four grandparents.

Esau lost his birthright, did he lose his salvation? He was reconciled to his brother afterwards.

Esau's example as mentioned in Hebrews is mentioned in the context of discipline!

Yes it's about Election and God being perfectly righteous in what He does. It's very interesting. Jacob was real crafty, even a thief maybe! Jacob fled becaues he knew he did wrong maybe. Easu prolly kicked himself real hard for being so stupid.

Regarding Esau however there is another charge against him. Sexual immorality. It's seems that Christians can do the same and risk losing 'something' salvation?
