Did the blind man earn his sight ?

What we can notice is...you have an agenda. healing the blind man has nothing to do with unconditional election at all. it shows that you are uncomfortable with the teaching so you take passages that have nothing to do with it...thinking to be clever but showing this to be another sad attempt to resist the truth of God.
Do you mean like when Calvinists use the story of Lazarus as a proof text to support their idea of Total Depravity and Irresistible Grace?

I was hoping someone would see the parallel.

Well what you fail to see is that Jesus taught that The raising of Lazarus does exactly correspond to the miracle of new birth. calvinists ...just believe Jesus words that he said.....you should also and then you might refrain from drifting off and away from bible truth with your agenda.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
