Trump used that naming technique from the outset.

But the point about DeSantis is that his ad campaign should easily disqualify him, if we're going to judge everyone by the high standards DT is to be held to.

And again, it is highly doubtful there is another possible candidate capable of withstanding the incessant onslaught, nor any who really present a will to really stand up at all. For all the bluster of his fighter ad, DeSantis does not appear to be such a one.

A Trump-less GOP is a losing proposition. How they manage to treat him will determine whether there is any real chance for them for some time.

But again, until they fix the election rigging, there’s little, if any, hope anyway.

We agree on a lot and I appreciate the exchange, but don’t want to take it to the next level. Don’t want to give the Dems or RINOs any ideas. They already do enough damage as it is.

Thanks for the comments. We disagree. The GOP success will come without Trump. I hesitate to underestimate him, but just feel worn out trying to defend or overlook the awful comments.

He doesn’t come across as optimistic anymore to me. He seems bitter. He seems more interested in being proven right than doing what’s right for the country… which is moving on from 2020.

If the GOP keep fighting the 2020 election, they have no hope for success. Trump cannot let 2020 go and move on, which is why the majority of repubs will chose someone else.

Yes, perhaps we disagree quite a bit. It’s not the 2020 election they need to fight against, it’s the apparatus set up to achieve the results. That will have to be dealt with.

But the GOP that results post Trump may not be one to garner much enthusiasm. McCain and Romney were clear losers. Obama was a media darling made popular worldwide for his first run. And now we are in an era significantly shaped by the Bernie factor.

Perhaps all you stated is true. I don’t know. I still hope for the right person to capture the trust of the people with a clear conservative message.

Repubs are making progress with the election process, but it may have forever changed significantly with early voting and mail in ballots.

Dem Leftists have been clamoring for actually abolishing COTUS for years. It’s a recurring theme. They’ve been undermining it, circumventing it, ignoring it, and Reps have done little to counter that. However, whenever they get a chance, both sides jump on Trump.

I'm old enough to remember the 2016 election when they wanted to change the voting system to majority rule because Trump won.

Report that Trump has stated since Elon Musk has revealed conclusion between Dems and twitter to interfere with the 2020 election, that election should be reversed and he should be declared the winner or have a new election, even if it means parts of the constitution should be abolished.

If this report is accurate, I will never vote for Trump again. He cannot be the nominee in 2024. The constitution must be embraced, even if you think there was fraud.

Once the state legislatures certified the election results and sent electors to congress , the election was over. Anything less is anarchy.

Per one definition ition this is progressive and activism.

Good grief any time one wants to change the constitution from its original intent through redefining the words in it that is activism. Progressivism is activism.

They don't. But if it did it has to start with the Republicans holding office in each State. States need to tighten up on voter laws.
