It is just ironic that those that get caught are so more often from a more conservative persuasion than those that do not get caught

    . . . . once they got over their ghosts - they went after everybody else's . . .

Are you sure you're over it?

Like the cow that jumped over the moon...

You have to admit, what I said was strange facts but true.

There were many reports of voting irregularities in the press, and a considerable amount of investigation going on. The FBI is actively pursuing a number of cases.

The reason it's not much of an issue this time, is that they don't seem to have been effective against what became an overwhelming force for change. In no race did they make a difference. Rove and Co. had nothing that would work on that scale.

If dirty tricks don't work, they're just despicable, not enraging.

It's kind of funny that democrats have been screaming so loud about Republican voter and election fraud for the past 6 years, but the only prosecutions and indictments have been of democrats.

And a state where 10's of thousands of GOP votes come from the panhandle where the vote was suppressed by early announcements by supposedly credible media that Bush had lost.

FTR, several recounts were done independent of the gov't. They concluded that anyway you try to steer it... Bush won. Narrowly but he won.

They never went back and eliminated the votes of snow birds who had voted in both their northern home states and Fl either.

The GOP didn't even come close to getting into the voter fraud that big city Dem machines perpetrate. I've mentioned it before but in the late 90's the liberal Atlanta JC reported that several thousand dead people had voted in the very Democratic districts in Atlanta. There was anecdotal evidence that the same kinds of things were going on in Fl cities. We know they went on in Cuyahoga county Ohio and St Louis Mo.

Good for her. Of course the same party that whines about chads rejects better systems and screeches at any mention of bringing more integrity to the vote by requiring a credible picture ID.
