My first digging tool was the Bible, which I started reading seriously in about 1953.
Tools to help understand included -
Bible class teaching
Scripture Union notes
Diagrams and maps in the British and Foreign Bible Society Jubilee Bible
CSSM choruses
Golden Bells hymn book
Discussions at school

But NOT CofE Prayer Book services.

Because Mac OS is way better and has far more software available.
Who cares about Liniux. It’s either Windows or Mac OS on desktops.

Desktop:
90% use windows. Mac does get 8%. But why don't you think Liniux is significant?

There is maybe one or two major corporate computers that are not Linux as the basic server. What disk space either Mac or Windows uses is considerably more then a Linux system, and Linux is FREE!

And Linux will recognize Mac and Windows machines. So, they generally make good server software.

Windows is still top seller as far as desktop, but android has won in mobile AP community.

I am feed up with the “upgrades” and having compatibility issues with old software.

If I want to by oil for a model “T,” I shouldn’t have to change the engine!

If I want to take the engine out and put it in a tractor, I shouldn’t have to buy a new title!

.
Just a small part of the advantages of pricier study programs
Logos offers free upgrades on Mac and PC platforms about every two years.
I'm not certain but I'd be willing to guess that Accordance does too.

I wonder if it was because most people are moving away from desktops, and Microsoft was about two years late in getting a portable working mobile software package, and the software was too bulky for the equipment.
