Dikaioo Declare or Make?

It seems with any view of Justification this Greek word comes into play. Dikaioo. So does it mean to Declare someone as righteous or to Make someone righteous? And if Declare we see in Isaiah 50 that the word that God speaks makes something true. So with Justification in mind what say you?

Doesn't justification mean different things in different contexts?

I think as far as salvation goes, it means to declare righteous. As far as sanctification goes, it means to make righteous by conforming believers to the image of Jesus Christ.

The greek term comes from the NT. My reference to Isaiah was about when God declares something it becomes true.
