How do dinosaurs fit into the creation of the world (by whatever means). This came up in a debate today, someone said they didnt believe in the Bible because dinosaurs existed on Earth before Man.

I'm certainly no expert but dinosaurs DID exist before man - by one day. They were created with all of the other animals that God created.

When someone tells you that the dinosaurs existed before man, please ask them says who? Where did you read it and who told you that? Most wont be able to answer you because they are just repeating the same non sense that most say and dont bother to read the word of God.

IMO God made everything that ever lived including dinosaurs, some educated person will say that the dinosaurs are 500 billion years old , and they may be according to the the way they test what they have dug up. Now my question for them is how old was the dinosaurs and everything else in the day when God made them? How old would the body of Adam have been? We know he lived 950 years afterwards, but if they did a test on his skin how old would he have been?

Today we have poodles. It is not likely that God "created a poodle" since we know humans used a breeding process to get a poodle or a chow or a doberman. But God created "Dog" and even so after some breeding there is a big difference between a poodle and doberman.
God created reptiles - some of which were the Dinosaurs that we find in the fossil record. Some of those Dinosaurs may have been bred from other Dinosaurs the same way a Doberman or a Poodle is today.
But in any case - it is still the 7 day week of Creation week found in Gen 1-2:3 and it is still about 6,000 years ago.

With their 100's of millions of years old estimates for large animals like Dinosaurs they then have a problem when they find "soft tissue preserved" in large Dinosaurs because nothing points to soft tissue being able to survive for 100's of millions of years.
How embarassing for the atheist darwinists.
