Perhaps you should have used the Gothic font.

    Hymn to a Gothic font:

(sing to tune of "come thou fount")

Come thy font of every blessing
Hither by thy help i post
And i hope by thy good measure
    Safely to avoid the ban.

Hate to see you leave. We try diligently NOT to censor anyone. But we have rules and when they are broken, posts get snipped. If you say MY bible is not inspired or if I call YOU a heretic - well, those just aren't allowed.

Continual breaking of rules will end in banning (like Ed was on a KJV forum - although I sure see the humor in them not allowing him to quote the AV1611!!).

We also have page limits (usually 5 but if a thread is staying "on topic", it may go 20 pages).

Hope you will reconsider, play by the rules, and enjoy years of fruitful discussions here on the BB.

KJ34, the rules are clearly posted, and when one engages in calling a Bible version a "perversion", etc. or the "King Jimmy Bible", etc. or calls the advocates of certain views "reprobates", etc. such lines will, thankfully, be edited out. I,too, have had quite a few lines snipped for violating the above, and when I've reflected about it, I thank God for a board where BOTH sides of such a passionate discussion as the BV issue are FAIRLY moderated within the hour of any message being posted.

If you've had the time and inclination to read the archives, you should have seen that the KJVO side fas been freely allowed to post its views within the rules, and that we who reject the KJVO myth are moderated just as closely.

If you can legitimately defend the KJVO myth, then by all means fire away. But if you choose to move on, may God bless your soul-winning and you & yours personally. But be advised, many of us here KNOW, not guess, that KJVO is a false, man-made doctrine totally outside of Scripture, and will continue to fight it tooth & nail, attempting to root it out of the Baptist faith altogether, and then out of all Christianity.

I think the issue was the closing of a thread that kjv34 did not want closed. It was closed after page 5 and wasno longer on the topic of "Missing verses."

    Meanwhile, back on the topic:

Askjo: // ... I have list of manuscripts where
The KJV and modern versions disagree each other
because of missing verses or missing words or
missing important doctrines such as the Christology,
the theology, the pneumatology, the soteriology,
    anthropolgy, etc,.

Mark 1:1, for example, has its phrase, "the Son of God."//

Strangely enough NONE of my doctrines are changed
by any modern version (yes, i use some modern
versions). The written word of God is God's message
to us, not the set of symbols used to represent
the message nor the specific language in which those
    symbols have meaning.

My God created the physics that allows the hologram
which men discovered. In a hologram you can store
in a plane of glass using lasers to store and lasers
to catch a three-dimensional image. IF you have say
a 12" by 18" glass in which is stored a holographic
image and you break it up into
one-inch by one-inch glass pieces you will have
216 little pieces of glass. Every one of those 216
pieces have the whole holographic image.
Once you get pices smaller than about one centi-meter (cm)
across the image begins to fade, but it is still there.
My God created the physcis that allows the
hologram to exist and men discovered it.

In the same manner, God has a message for mankind
and the first part was written with Hebrew symbols
and the second part was written with Greek symbols.
Now days i prefer that message written with
English symbols using 21st Century (2001-2100)
protocall and founts. God is big enough to get His
precious Holy written Word (Message) to us via
Bible Translations. Further, He has given us
the Holy Spirit to assure His message doesn't get
messed up. And we are worrying about a missing
phrase like //Mark 1:1, for example,
has its phrase, "the Son of God."//?

    GP Sr.,

Of course you do know that it was my computer that made the numerical mistake in the above post don't you?

However, sometimes the math is a little dicey here in SC. Let me cipher for a minit- add the 9, bring down the 1....yep, it's 66 :D

    For HappyG only.

    Please answer my questions:

Luke 9:59 has "Lord." NASB omitted the name of Jesus Christ.

How many manuscripts do not have "Lord"?

    How many manuscripts have "Lord"?

    What OLDER manuscripts have "Lord"?
</font>[/QUOTE]Where are you, HappyG? I am waiting for your answers.
