Do ghosts exist?

Good question. If there are no ghosts but only demons then why should demons be "bound" to houses where people were killed or slaughtered such as this plantation or other haunted houses?

And since dead people cannot communicate with us anymore does this mean that if a relative dies and then you dream about this person and in this dream the person says something to you then this was either just a dream or it was a demonic deception?
Because my grandmother said that after my grandfather died she dreamed that she saw him and he told her that it's good to believe in God. I don't know what to think about this.

Dreams are not necessarily demonic - there is still such a thing as a plain vanilla dream. Don't get too excited there.

But as for your "demons are stuck in houses" story -- that is a wild hoot.

It is like saying "Wait a minute the serpent in the tree talking to Eve can not possibly be Satan - for how would Satan get stuck in a tree?? Why wouldn't Satan know that Eve was told she COULD eat from all trees except one? Why does he get the details wrong? Surely Lucifer would have been smart enough to know that the deal was!".

But to phrase the question in that way is to first be fully duped by the ploy Satan is offering to Eve AS IF the questions and scenario HE is creating "is legit" to start with!!

If you go to a broadway play and the evil character in the play asks "What time is it?" -- do you come away saying

"HOW could that possibly be a play since the supposed producer surely must have KNOWN what time it really was and besides how could all those actors get stuck on that stage as if they could never leave it??!!!

That must have been REAL!!"

In Christ,

Bob

There are familiar spirits;

When Abel was killed by Cain his blood cried from the ground.

I drove by a former church in Tuscaloosa that is suppssely haunted. me My wife and I heard a hidious sound. Nobody was around . The former church building had been a plantation and then a Church. Could it be that a formere slaves blood cired from the ground?

needlessly to say I have not driven back to this sight.
Cain's blood "crying out from the ground" is not to be taken literally.
