I woke up this morning and found that apparently I never did, because to some people i wasn’t woke enough??….

As a child I couldn’t hardly wait until I was considered an adult. Now I’m confused because doing adult things like cutting the grass, taking a bath, doing laundry, is “adulting” and that’s bad???….

Over the years I have had to cancel a number of items,: credit cards, insurance policies, contracts,… but now I find culture is cancelled???…

Today, in central Texas, it was down right humid! Dank! But now I find humidity is cool??….

Let's see.
In John 17:11, ". . . I come to thee. Holy Father, . . . ." Now my two printed "college" dictionaries, has:
Holy Father, n, a title of the pope.
Then Matthew 23:9 comes to mind.
But then there are the foot notes in my four Catholic Bible translations that I have in my library of a few books.

I can't comprehend other people in my generation when I head to any urban area, which is fortunately extremely rare. Those my age in my local area I can understand fine :)!

The urbanites also can't comprehend me....

swale, yonder, bait hook, blackguarding, "What'da ya say Bob?" (Means hello), branch water, "tar" (4 of 'em on a car), bench (flat part of a ridge)

You should hear my neighbors and I interacting with what we colloquially call "The Hindus" (Indian family) that own the only gas station in the area. It's like a really bad version of that "telephone" game. Their good folks though...
