The GOP needs to adopt the Tea Party economic agenda. As for going high tech, as money allows. Should we abandon social values? No, we have always advocated social values; it's the Democrats who advocate anything goes. The GOP is controlled by the wealthy country club and Wall Street people who pay the bills for the party.
Part of the disaster of the last campaign was the nomination of a Mormon cultist. What we need now is to work to re-elect the US House members and take back the US Senate in 2014. Everything is going to be okay--you'll see.
IMO, Republicans need to get rid of the neos and establishment crowd like the Bushes and Romney types, in other words, the RINOs. The worst example is Mitch McConnell, Senate minority leader. The difference is best illustrated by the fact Mitch McConnell threw his support behind Rand Paul's opponent in the primary, and basically stayed quiet during the general election. Mitch has an uphill fight to retain his seat in 2014, both in the primary and general election.
The Republicans need a national leader, sort of like Reagan. There is no central figure in the party now. It seems in disarray, as Obama has been running circles around them since the election every time they try to correct Obama's horrible economic policies.
Only if it's God's will.
At this time, I don't think anyone know's God's will as far as what's in store for this downfallen nation.
If Republicans gain/retain both Houses in 2014 will
prayer return to the public square?
abortionists become criminals in the eyes of the law?
the US pay its debts?
Congress declare the union of a man and woman is the only "legal" marriage?
society turn away from worship of Hollywood/Sports/Stuff idols?
The republicans as a whole are nothing but democrats in make-up. We did not get in the mess are in by just the democrats. Republicans are sort of like a pig with jewelry. What is needed is a new party not more jewelry.
