Aww, how cute Ann!
My bird is about twice that size! O.O
Oh forgot to mention...the goldfish in the pond & the frog.
I have a pet King pigeon, which is a bit unusual.
Do you have any unusual pets?
Someone call my wife and tell her to get me an english bulldog or at least allow me to have one! She needs to SUBMIT! :tear:

Aww. Don't you know you have to work your way up to that? Insist on something messy, like a pet rat, or something creepy, like a big python. Keep talking about it enthusiastically and make lots of verbal plans. Chances are, she'll take the lesser of the two evils and let you get the dog.
I'm going to have to device a plan now! :applause:
And if your wife doesn't comply, abc will come with her rolling pin!
LOL!! The thing is my wife is so smart (has a pharmd) she'd catch on and tell me how cute it was that I attempted this and the answer is a negative!
Bring home two Jersey roosters & tell her you want to make money fighting them. They usually start crowing at 530 am. LOL!!!
Preacher, this reminds me of when dh and I had been married about a year and I really wanted a parakeet. Nothing I said or did could make him agree to it. Like a good submissive wife, I finally told him, we're either getting a parakeet or having a baby! We got the parakeet.
He got me back a couple years later after we got the parakeet AND had a baby. . .he got a puppy! Oh, and the ONE time I wanted a dog and we got it, guess whose pal it was? Oh no, not mine, not the one who fed it and petted it and put up with the fur shedding all over. That mutt was hubby's from day one and there was nothing I could do to change it.
So, take heart. Your time is probably coming!
Ok that's 2 against 1. Your wife must submit! :laugh:I'm inspired by your testimony BIG time!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope so and will count you as a prophet!!!! Please give a precise time though because I really want this english bulldog soon!!!
So does our 3 year old girl with whom I've share googled pictures of english bulldog pups and she says 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!' in a really cute 3 year old voice!!!
We both await fulfillment! As a matter of fact when I brought her home tonight she talked about our getting a puppy!

I wasn't allowed to have a dog when I was kid and as soon as I left home I got one. I have had them ever since. The two I have now will be my last. They will probably outlive me!

Good strategy. Tell your wife your think you should get a horse for your daughter.
Tried that. Our girl said 'Mommy, Daddy wants me to tell you we want a horse, but he really wants an english bulldog'.
She's making the couch all comfy for me as I type.
