Do you love God enough to take your faith underground if need be? I'd like to know! It may not be an option, so why is the church not thinking about this as a possibility?
This reminds me of an old southern gospel concert that was a live recording that became an album. I forget offhand which group it was, but I want to say it was the Kingsmen.

Either way, the lead was talking about faith, especially the faith of Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael. When talking about the fiery furnace, he asked, "How many of you have that kind of faith tonight?" He was met with thunderous applause.

I always thought that this was a ridiculous question. We don't know if we have that kind of faith until it's tested.

I'd like to think that my faith is strong enough that I'd continue to serve God come what may. But I've never been faced with death for my faith. I'd like to believe that I'd stay true to God. But unless and until that time comes, I have know way of knowing for sure.

I have been involved in church planting since the mid-90's.

I will never again be involved in a plant that stays "above ground"

You have to be asleep at the wheel to not see the coming persecution.

I happened upon some videos put out by ISIS. I was utterly horrified at the brutality and sadism. Coincidently I was asking myself the same question. But D.L. Moody once said "people worry about having grace to die by, well what you need is grace to live by".

Later for that.

Right now, the persecution in the U.S. will be monetary:
Loss of tax exemption, seizure of property, prosecution of hate crimes, etc.

Eventually it will become a death sentence once again, to confess Christ.

The work I'm currently involved in will not incorporate, have commonly held property, etc.
