Do you play an instrument?

You are me he too old to learn to play an instrument. I have never played an instrument in my life and now I am starting to learn to play the guitar. My grand daughter is my inspiration. She is 7 years old and she plays the flute, the ukulele and the guitar.

I used to play the violin in high school but I don't now because I'm an adult who chose to work a 9 to 5 job and volunteer on the weekends instead of practicing. I still relive the good old days in memory though I once played in a large concert hall and that was my peak. LOL

I took piano under a lone teacher from the ages of 14 or 15 to 21. I don't have the time, money, or drive to continue anymore...I do enjoy it still, and I don't want to lose the ability.

I have taught myself piano. Hoping to learn the guitar soon - when I find that elusive thing called "time".

Oh, and my voice. I sing. :)

I can play the flute, clarinet, saxophone, French horn and piccolo. Use to play in our church band before I moved away. Miss it so very much.

This is kind of an old thread, but seeing as there's some new replies, I'll reply, too.

I mostly play piano and baritone/euphonium, but I consider myself proficient at rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and the ukulele. I also mess around with harmonicas, some drums, and the simple woodwinds.

Here's a video of me playing a religious parody of Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire".

Here's me doing my latest; "How Great Thou Art"

Hope you guys enjoy.
