Yes. It sounds like they have completely discarded national sovereignty.

I am no fan of the CFR nor globalization in general... but to lay the immigration problem at the feet of globalist conspirators is a stretch.

I read a good portion of the original report and there is nothing in it nearly as heinous as what you seem to imagine.

    • "
In particular, the three governments should strive toward
a situation in which a terrorist trying to penetrate our borders will
have an equally hard time doing so, no matter which country he
elects toenter first."... Just doesn't sound all that ominous in context does it?
    • The three countries
should develop a secure North American Border Passwith biometric
identifiers. This document would allow its bearers expedited passage
through customs, immigration, and airport security throughout the
region. The program would be modeled on the U.S.-Canadian
‘‘NEXUS’’ and the U.S.-Mexican ‘‘SENTRI’’ programs, which
provide ‘‘smart cards’’ to allow swifter passage to those who pose
no risk. Only those who voluntarily seek, receive, and pay the costs
for a security clearance would obtain a Border Pass. The pass would
be accepted at all border points within North America as a complement
to, but not a replacement for, national identity documents
      or passports.[/quote]

Again, doesn't quite sound like the boogy man has arrived in context. Most of the recommendations have pretty good explanations of the rationale whether you agree or not.

I didn't see in that report anything that suggested in any way that the CFR was somehow causing people to illegally cross the border. In fact, part of the proposal was to bring Mexico up economically so that the problem would diminish on its own. Pretty good idea wouldn't you think?

Honey in your ear, sour in your stomach. Ever hear of euphemisms and non sequiturs? I guess I can understand where you're coming from Scott I come to many of the same conclusions myself until I read hundreds of these documents and compared them to the written opinions of their authors, many of whom are Malthusians.
