I am thankful God uses CCM or whatever He chooses to, to work in our lives. Praise God!

Hey if God can use a worthless person like me, he can use anything..

He has even used a broken radiator to teach me a lesson..When ai was pastoring 5 yrs ago, God impressed me to stop at a persons home to invite them to church... I didn't ....too busy I said..

went on for a couple weeks untill my car started overheating and the motor stopped.. I coasted to the nearest wide spot... you guessed it.. the driveway of the person God was telling me to visit! I sat there, looked up at the sky, and said, "I get it"

I am so stubborn sometimes, he has to use unusual ways to get my attention sometimes.

Listen, I am thankful for that night when we were here and this thread was started.. It answered a prayer of mine.. Thank you all for being a part of that special night for me.

And SBC, I really thank you...keep up the good work. I respect you tremendously. I just wish you lived closer so we could meet.

BTW, has CC said when they are releasing their next CD? I can't wait.

I never thought that coming to BB, God would ever use BB the way he has in my life..

I just came to get some answers to KJVO.
I got hooked and here I am.

CC needs to get on the ball, so many are waiting for new songs! :D

"Love Them Like Jesus" by Casting Crowns

The love of her life is drifting away
They're losing the fight for another day
The life that she's known is falling apart
A fatherless home, a child's broken heart

You're holding her hand, you're straining for words
You trying to make - sense of it all
She's desperate for hope, darkness clouding her view
She's looking to you

Just love her like Jesus, carry her to Him
His yoke is easy, His burden is light
You don't need the answers to all of life's questions
Just know that He loves her and stay by her side
Love her like Jesus
Love her like Jesus

The gifts lie in wait, in a room painted blue
Little blessing from Heaven would be there soon
Hope fades in the night, blue skies turn to gray
As the little one slips away

You're holding her hand, you're straining for words
You're trying to make sense of it all
They're desperate for hope, darkness clouding their view
They're looking to you

Just love them like Jesus, carry them to Him
His yoke is easy, His burden is light
You don't need the answers to all of life's questions
Just know that He loves them and stay by their side
Love them like Jesus

Lord of all creation holds our lives in His hands
The God of all the nations holds our lives in His hands
The Rock of our salvation holds our lives in His hands
He cares for them just as He cares for you

So love them like Jesus, love them like Jesus
You don't need the answers to all of life's questions
Just know that He loves them and stay by their side
Love them like Jesus
Love them like Jesus

I've emailed this thread to a lot of people, because it was wonderful. They knew I was praying for a decision and I had been praying on what to preach.. I had prepared 2 different sermons, and didn't know which one to use...

but after Pastor posted, God showed me which one..

He had sent me that sermon that he preached on page 1 too. It was wonderful! It was obvious to me and my husband that God gave him that sermon. My husband went on and on about how that is the kinda Pastor and sermon he would like to hear every week.

I would love to hear tinytim preach too.

Boring? I just read through the entire thing -- all 19 pages to see what y'all were so excited about! What a neat thread!

One thought -- when Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves, I think part of that means to notice, meet, and get to know our neighbors -- the people He has put in our lives.

We do tend to get too busy to do that, don't we? The folks next door, across the street, down the block. How many of us actually know our entire block's worth of neighbors?

This is something the Lord has really been laying on my heart lately. But spring is coming and the rains are slowing down to sporadic sprinkles and the daffodils are starting and people are seeing blue skies again and getting out in their yards.

We've only been in this house since last May. Time to start inviting people over, I think!

In the meantime, thank you all for this thread. It's great, and God bless you all.

edit: by the way, Tim, God bless you tomorrow!
