We are going to be fighting radical Islamic forces at the terrorist or national levels for a long time. We'd best make use of the inroads we've made in Iraq. The situation isn't perfect but it's a start. Iraq does need to decide for itself what it needs for its own government. They do have internal strife to resolve. We, however, have a vested interest in what goes on overall in Iraq and the surrounding areas. We can keep dealing with it now - as we should - or we can give up, quit, and run away - as we absolutely should not - only to be pursued another day in another place. A politcal solution is not possible. The enemy must be destroyed to the point they no longer have the will to fight or they no longer exist.

I believe if we don't fight the terrorists in Iraq and over there, we will be fighting them in front of, or in, our homes because they are not going to quit if and when we quit Iraq. Our military in Iraq is serving as a target taking the aim off American civilians at the present and our military is far more qualified to deal with them than moms and dads or our kids here at home. We do need to take the gloves off our military and let them kick some serious butt and we do need to deal with Iran in a far more effective manner and all those who are fueling terrorism.
I honestly don't see a way to end this war this side of the Second Coming unless all who are not terrorists take up the fight with us. It is necessary till He comes if we are to survive as a nation.
