Do you tend to "mark your Bibles up," or do you prefer to keep them clean and pristine?

I do make notes, underline, and highlight passages.

I'm sorry. I edited my previous post instead of answering here. I use various bibles but the one I've used the longest is the King James version.May I ask which Bible translation you like to use?
I guess it's just me but I just can't bring myself to mark up my Bibles.
I use notebooks to mark in instead.

Yes, I mark up my Bible (singular). That is, I mark the one I am reading and studying. I don't mark the other Bibles that I just use for reference.Do you tend to "mark your Bibles up," or do you prefer to keep them clean and pristine?
For highlighting, I use these:Do you use special pens and highlighters, designated for use in Bibles, or do you use "regular" pens and highlighters?
I have one bible do that with, rest of the time have bible open, and next to my laptop, and the bible software used to study with ois there!Do you tend to "mark your Bibles up," or do you prefer to keep them clean and pristine?

I only mark up Bibles in Logos Bible Software. I do not mark in my physical Bibles.
I don't write in a Bible. I just don't feel right about it. I do however write in my books, commentaries and highlight & and add notes on Olive Tree Bible software.

For highlighting, I use these:

I used to use the old Bic 4 color ballpoint pen, but now have something like this (didn't find the one I use by a quick search online):

These pens are highly recommended, but I do not have them:

I'm a marker-upper. It helps me learn more and teach better.
On the pages that I do use a highlighter, I have to use the ones made for Bibles or else it will bleed through to the next page.
Here's my Bible. Sorry it's blurry!

My Bible is marked up, written in, duct taped, well worn, and I love it that way! I have numerous other Bibles, children have given me new ones for Christmas, etc., I try to use them, but I always go back to my old KJV. It's so familiar, I can find things easier in it, just like an old pair of shoes. Nothing else is as comfortable.
