    If the standard about being quarrelsome in this forum is going to disqualify us from the ministry, then a number of regular posters here need to hand in our certificates of ordination. The fact that Paul says we should not be generally quarrelsome people does not mean that we should never, under any circumstances, be contentious.

    Regarding the "homosexual agenda," several excellent organizations like PFLAG, GLAAD, and HRC are working for equal and fair treatment of gay and lesbians. Organizations like Soulforce, Dignity, Rainbow Baptists, etc. are working for ecclesiastical affirmation of homosexuality. None of this is insidious or clandestine, as Dobson likes to claim. Nor is it malicious, evil, or dangerous, as he also likes to claim.

    Nevertheless, being intentionally insulting is inappropriate. I apologize for it, and genuinely repent. As each decade goes by, I become less of a hothead. At this rate, I should only have to be about as old as Methusalah to be gentle as a lamb.

    As for me being threatened by those who hold a "biblical position," that is absurd. I think my position is the biblical one, and I think the judgement of history (and of God) will prove me right - as it has with slavery and women.

    you have got to be kidding me! What Bible are you reading, The Works and Testomony According to My Opinion, Not Gods? I know that it was said not to turn this into a homosexual subject, but this is one of those blake and white issues! Homosexuallity is sin and very carnal! Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve people!

    The Bible couldent be more specific, so take your selfrighteous rainbow resoning and throw it out w/ last weeks garbage. Your right about one thing, this a tiring subject that needent be argued!

    You cannot lose your salvation, but anything that separates us from heaven, us from God, us from a fruitful walk w/ God, is malicious, evil, and dangerous.

    My question has been answered. I can see that James Dobson is a good man who is trying to help people, not force theology and doctrin down anyones throught, the fact that he has programs to help people through their time in need and mainly help the ones that are suffering the most, our families, makes him a good and faithfull servant of the God who I trust and obey.

    Dosent the bible say that in the end times, the world will be worse and the christian population wont be that large in number?

    You had better open your eyes to these "excellent organizations", which teach and promote every form of sodomy and perversion between adults and children, and their agenda of indoctrinating children into their perverse and depraved "lifestyles".     Yes it is to get worse, but I don't believe we have seen the worst yet. Things get bad but if you think back there have been much worse that our country has endured and I do believe there is much harder times to come but so far I think we've had it pretty good.
