npetreley said:Unfortunately, it's easy to misunderstand the term "doctrines of grace". Arminius believed we are saved by Grace, so you could easily call Arminianism a doctrine of grace. The term "Calvinism" is much more easily understood as to what it defines. Several of us here who haven't even read Calvin still refer to ourselves as Calvinists, because we know what the term implies.
