Settle down, nothing in his post was a challenge or an accusation so chill with the hyper defensive response. It's not a contest.

In the past 5 years, The U.S has taken in over 115,000 refugees from the midle east and granted green cards to over 300,000 middle easterners from countries identified as refugee nations.

Overall the U.S has taken in over 20% of the world's international migrants. 1 in 4 U.S. Residents is now either an immigrant or born to immigrant parents.

As for Syria, 10,000 is only the 1st installment and the UN has only approved about 100,000 syrians for refugee status.

Let's hear it for Ireland once again.

Yea these guys act like we have never done anything for the world before. By the way America is broke. We do not have the money for this.

Last year, The U.S took in 70,000 "refugees" and are slated to take in another 70,000 minimum this year.

Is it too much to ask the Obama administration to at least vet theses people. It's a matter of trust and the majority of Americans do no trust this administration to perform due diligence.

As for Obama's ridicule of a religious test for accepting refugees, he's a liar, as usual. There have been many instances in the past of giving priority to religious groups that are routinely persecuted. There is no doubt that the most religiously persecuted group of people in the world today are middle eastern Christians. Yet we are totally ignoring them. wonder why?

The states have been asking Obama for the background info they do have on these people and he refuses to give them any.

"in FY 2013, 91.4 percent of Middle Eastern refugees (accepted to the U.S. between 2008-2013) received food stamps, 73.1 percent were on Medicaid or Refugee Medical Assistance and 68.3 percent were on cash welfare."

But I expect "refugees" to need that kind of help. The real problem is the over 150,000,000 people on some type of governent assistance and kids ars now coming out of college expecting more hand outs.

Overall , it's unsustainable.
