I already have. When the Bible provides universe-wide comprehensive statements, those who claim that one realm is an exception to that reality must prove what they assert.

Given what the Scripture teaches about the whole creation being corrupted, the correct view is that there is music without words that is corrupt. If you deny the Bible, there is not anything more that we need to talk about.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, SIR...

You haven't proven ANYTHING about evil melodies; you've only presented an opinion. The Bible says NOTHING about evil melodies.

There's simply no proof that wordless melodies are evil.

It's simple. Romans 8 explicitly says that the entire creation was corrupted:

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

In effect, you assert that divine revelation does not apply to music without words.

You do not have any Bible to support your position that Romans 8:19-22 does not apply to music without words.

There is nothing more to discuss.

You can continue to keep saying the same thing over and over again. If you choose to continue doing so, I am going to keep replying with these same words.

It would be best if we agree to disagree and leave it there.

Turn it up! Bring on the Avant-Garde, (electric and electronic) fuzz and distortion, drums, bombs, caws, and anything that sounds good and is LOUD to the glory of God!

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Very well, then. Feel free to keep believing something that can't be proven.

No, YOU have not dealt with being unable to show proof that a melody without words can be evil. That's equal to saying a knife is evil because it can be used to murder. You're going on an unproven opinion, not FACTS.

You have persistently refused to deal with explicit divine revelation given in Romans 8:19-22. We do not have anything more to discuss until you account for what God has revealed in that passage and how it applies to music without words.

You are wasting your time and mine by continuing to comment on this thread in the same manner.

Still waiting for PROOF that a wordless melody is evil in & of itself.

People who refuse to hear and deal with what God has to say will get no other answers. The Bible is the ultimate authority--not human reasoning.

The Bible never teaches that God created all music. The Bible never teaches that all music without words is inherently amoral, neutral, or good.

The Bible teaches that the entire creation was corrupted, therefore it is false to say that music without words cannot be corrupt.

God is always right.

Hmmm...For one who said there's nothing further to discuss on this subject, you still keep bringing it up.

And you're misplacing your corruption. Music is made by corrupted men, as well as non-corrupted animals. That fact doesn't make any wordless melody corrupt no matter who made it. Remember, God gave corrupted men the ability to make music, but that doesn't make their music corrupt.

You still haven't made your case for some wordless music being corrupt.

I keep responding because you keep commenting.

No, I am not misplacing where there is corruption resulting from the Fall. You are rejecting what Rom. 8:19-22 says. There are no non-corrupted animals--Rom. 8:19-22 explicitly teaches that the whole creation was corrupted!

We are not going to get anywhere until you submit your thinking to the explicit divine revelation in Rom. 8:19-22--the whole creation was corrupted. That applies as much to music without words as it does to anything else in the entire creation.
