Do you mean as opposed to "once saved always saved"?
Ask any Catholic if he/she KNOWS they will go to heaven when they die. The answer is usually "I don't know" or "I'm not sure". Catholics teach that there is a mythical place called "purgatory" where they will be "purged" before they can enter heaven. IOW, the blood of Christ was not sufficient to cleanse them from ALL sin.does a Catholic KNOW they have been saved, that there is no doubt that Heaven will be theirs once passed away?
Catholics teach a "works" salvation and that's why they need to be "purged" in that mythical place called purgatory!or is it they are not really confident, as have to make sure have done enough 'co operating' with god thru the Sacramental means of grace in order to maintain their eternal life in Christ?
