Does the Holy Spirit Regenerate us Fior us To place faith In Christ and be saved?

is it that the HS grants repentence/opens our hearts/minds to us first, than we place faith in Jesus OR

that we have inherit faith in us to hear Gospel place faith than get regenerated?

Or BOTH happen a t same time, flip side same coin, that God does His work, while we do our part?

Bunch of loaded questions, huh?


Well, regeneration is a "new birth". New birth means life. One can not be regenerated and not have life. One can not have life outside of Christ. Jesus stated that except you eat of my flesh, and drink of my blood, YE HAVE NO LIFE IN YOU. 'Nuff said! :thumbs:

FTR, faith occurs prior to regeneration.........and is a gift of God! :thumbs:


The only thing we can do is put our trust(belief/faith) in Christ.
