johnp has repeated this over and over but I guess it bears repeating once again. Here it is in more than one translation.

The operative action for salvation is the grace of God. By Grace!!!

    Corry,
Can you tell me in your own words and your own understanding exactly how grace does what you have accepted that it does do?

By the way, I also have many translations at my disposal. The translators are pretty consistant regarding Pauls words. And I do believe that Paul said exactly what has been translated into the English language. So you don't need to keep throwing that at me.

Just tell me HOW grace saves and you win! Oh, you may have to define exactly what Grace is in order to convince me that what you describe as grace can actually do what you say it can do.

I guess that's why we never understand Wes. Everything he says must be all a joke.

    RC,
It's funny you should say that. As I was logging on, this thought came to my mind: maybe Wes posts these posts and then sits back and gets the biggest laugh at us.

    Here now,
You give me entirely too much credit. I'm not smart enough to play games like that...but I am beginning to learn from you all.

    Hello Wes.
It may be helpful to have a sense of humour if I fail in election? No there will be no time for humour it is punishment without relief, even comic relief.
I do not need to await the count I won a very infinite majority and have began to reign. A Royal Priesthood a chosen nation.

Some said that the NT teaches resistible grace. Which is right?

How many admonitions to "Keep the faith baby"?

The answers should give you a clue.

Another Baskin-Robbins 31-varieties of Grace post.

    Common grace

    Saving grace.

If grace saves, why don't both of these save?

    That's a silly question.

If Baskin Robbins made chocolate, why aren't they ALL chocolate. All the FLAVORS are ice cream though. God's unmerited favor is on everyperson. For health, protection, rain, sunshine, wind... etc. This is grace it is UNMERITED favor. We all deserve Stillborn death.
Anything other than that is grace. It is COMMON to us all. But this has nothing to do with saving grace. That grace is election. Elected to receive the ability to put our faith in Christ. Not all recieve it.
