Yes, he should stay on vacation and out of Washington as much as he needs to gather his thoughts.

Not until he answers questions. If he's going to walk out to a podium, make a proclamation, refuse to take questions that aren't pre-approved, and then walk back into the basement, then no he does not deserve a break.

If he stands in front of reporters and actually answers questions like Trump did, then yes he deserves as much of a break as Trump got. Which was hardly any.

How do you expect him to do that when everything he does is scripted? Let’s be honest, the guy is merely a puppet. So how can anyone expect anything of him? So as far as giving him a break, heck no… he knew the job was dangerous when he took it, so. Joe, get transparent with the American public or leave. You look for all intents and purposes like a clueless dottering old fool and you are embarrassing the country. America needs a strong and confident leader not this pathetic creature.
