About three years back, a stubby-tailed female manx came to my patio, pathetically meowing for help. She looked like walking death because she was so emaciated. My wife and I began feeding her and got her spayed and treated for hook worms. We live in a trailer park, and rats tend to be a problem here. It is not uncommon anymore to find a dead rat on my patio, courtesy of Matilda, our adopted kitty. One morning, we had four dead rats on the patio. A few days back, I trapped a large male rat inside our residence, and just yesterday, Matilda slaughtered his mate on the patio. We feel blessed of the Lord to have this cat.
