At this point, just as you've clarified your statement about voting for the party, I'd like to assume that I've clarified my statement about Trump being an equal threat to the First Amendment. If you require further clarification, please let me know.

You have clarified, and it makes it even worse, because you still do not acknowledge the implication of your statement and the impact it can have on those who are going to vote.

That's not going to go away, Don. You have reconciled your promotion of Hillary Clinton in your own mind, and justified it in your own mind, but not in the Public Record.

That's the kind of Propaganda your Math fails to understand, and that is the very reason your view is, from my perspective, not only erroneous but harmful to this country and Christianity.

I know you think you are presenting a reasonable view, but it is beyond me how you can not see that Hillary Clinton is by far a worse threat than Trump.

Good for him, lol, if he has done this. The "Press" has become a joke. Everything these days is the National Enquirer.
Doesn't mean that Trump is going to restrict freedom of speech, that is just absurd.

1) "If"??? You honestly aren't aware that he did this? How well do you *really* know this candidate that you're advocating for president?

1. Present what it is that has you shaking in your boots that Trump will somehow restrict freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

2. Present why you do not see Obama and Clinton as a far more known threat to the freedoms we enjoy.

How well do I know him? Well enough to know he can't be compared to Obama and Clinton. Still hope for him, but none whatsoever for Obama and Clinton.

2) He restricts the press, and you congratulate him for this. You indicate it doesn't imply he's going to restrict freedom of speech, when he already has.

I also cheered when Ted Cruz told the reporters they were not speaking, he was.

The media circus you recognize as the "Press" is a joke. There are a lot of people in this country that do not turn on "the press" and think they can get an unbiased account of the "facts." When I do tune in, it is not the press reporting I consider, but the underlying elements of the account.

For example, so far I have been given an article about Trump's enemies in the business world, which was given to show he was a failure as a businessman. The objective was to dismiss an argument that in regards to the financial state of this country...Trump is a more viable person for the task than Hillary Clinton. Just like Romney was over Obama.

And the reasoning concluded that Trump is a failure because he has people bad-mouthing him, and...his net worth is only 4.5 billion.

Sound reasoning, no?

So present your basis, Don, instead of continuing to just say this, that, and the other. I don't want a media report of statistics, I want the facts.

I understand a little bit about what it means to be in business. I understand why employees and clients might get upset. Doesn't mean they are justified, and the bad-mouthing is usually nothing more than disgruntled business associates. I have people mad at me because I refuse to do business with them. Now factor in the desperate measures employed in a Presidential race.

Not sure how you see irony in an assumption that Trump is going to eradicate freedom of the press, particularly when the press is in the state its in these days.

If he does this as a candidate, one can only wonder how far it will go when he's given the power of executive order.

Then why are we even bothering to discourse with you, if you won't make the effort to actually have the facts and truth?

Here's a few I can remember off the top of my head:

1. Donald Trump is an obvious threat whereas Hillary Clinton is only a potential threat;

2. Donald Trump is a failure as a businessman;

3. Donald Trump wants to kill women and children;

4. Donald Trump is going to eradicate freedom of the Press.

5. Its logical to vote for a party you know is going to lose as long as your conscience is satisfied;

6. Thinking Trump will have a responsibility to Conservative voters is absurd;

7. 20% of Sanders' votes will go to Trump;

8. Propaganda doesn't impact the results of an election.


You're doing a good job, Don, of helping get Hillary into Office. Keep them facts coming...

My pastor has a saying that reflects how a lot of people think about Jesus. I imagine Donald Trump would have the same idea

"If I can just get Jesus on board with what I'm doing here, there will be nothing stopping me."

And what does your Pastor say about Obama's view of Christ?

Of course politicians are going to seek to endear Christians to themselves, but two things you need to consider:

1. This shows that their vote is taken into consideration;

2. This establishes a responsibility, even if it just political maneuvering...to those votes.

Here's a third: consider the other side, who does not care about the conservative and Christian vote, but spits in its face with their policies.

Homosexuality. Abortion. Tolerance.

One side we know will work against the values we hold, and one side has historically represented those values.

You choose.

Darrell, I do not mean this as an insult, but there is a point when people will not read comments because they are excessive. Brevity, man, brevity...

It's okay, Rolfe, I do not get insulted by comments ,like these, I expect them.

That does not mean, however, that I give any credibility to them. Seesm to be pretty obvious that there are those here who don't mind responding to long posts, which are long because the posts respond to long posts.

And that is the problem, people in large part want people to listen to them, but they have no intention of engaging in in-depth discussions that might betray the weaknesses of their arguments.

When it becomes a matter of only one side speaking without what they say being questioned, then we have the recipe for domination.

We are not going to chat our way through these differences, and it is the facebook mentality that has turned many Americans into shallow people incapable of drawing conclusions based on all relevant issues. If more people took the time to look at their own perspectives through the lenses of their antagonists, we might see some remarkable changes in this country.

We have become a sitcom. That is the state of the Union.

I present you actual voting percentages, and you dismiss them -- because they don't support your narrative.

I can dismiss factors that are not consistent, Don, so how about answering my question about third-party votes?

She will continue the advances Obama has made for various liberal agendas and the saddest part of this is...there are "Christians" who are going to vote for her.

Because there are Christians who are not so blinded by their hatred for Ms. Clinton that they can see that Mr. Trump is a menace to the Constitution and Christendom. He claims he wants to “help” Christians - explicitly violating the separation of church and state - which historically has been a disaster for the church. He wants to use the power of government to restrict activities of persons who adhere to an Islamic faith/tradition, which directly contradicts the intent of our Founders who specifically called out Muslims in their advocacy of religious liberty.

This is laughable.

Here you are, a preacher of Tolerance, advocating for two of the most evil characters ever to enter the political realm in this country.

And you want to talk to me about logical fallacies?

The fact you are so woefully ignorant of Islam becomes clearer as you continue in your response. That you are ignorant of actual deconstruction of the rights of Christians is also made clear.

This year, Christians are forced to bake cakes for homosexuals, what will it be next year when your defenders of freedom, Obama and Clinton...continue in the progress you are helping them achieve?
