Donald trump wins praise from experts with new immigration plan

While most of the permanent political class is still aghast that 2016 GOP presidential frontrunner billionaire Donald Trump put together one of most specific, pro-American worker immigration plans of anyone running for public office, he’s winning widespread praise from key experts on the issue.

Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) executive director Mark Krikorian told Breitbart News that he’s pleased Trump is drawing a focus to this issue and his plan is spot on.

Krikorian said in an email:

The first notable thing about Trump’s immigration plan are the three principles it lays out. Immigration policy must be based exclusively on the interest of We the People of the United States, not wealthy donors, not corporations, not union bosses, not big-city politicians, and not foreign citizens. Why every candidate of every party hasn’t already said this is a mystery. Many of the specifics are also sound: E-Verify, visa-tracking, cutting off aid to sanctuary cities, making overstay of a visa a criminal offense, tightening up on H-1B visas, etc. His support for moderating our current very high levels of legal immigration is welcome, though I look forward to more specifics — which visa categories should be reduced or eliminated? Also, I think the antagonism toward Mexico in the first section is not helpful — Mexico is indeed obstructionist in many areas, though it is helpful in others (for instance, by interdicting many of the Central American illegals headed north). Our approach to our neighbor to the south must be firm, but not ham-handed. But overall, none of the other Republican (or Democratic) candidates (with the exception of Rick Santorum) has as sound and as well thought-through an immigration plan.

Immigration reform that will make america great again

The three core principles of Donald J. Trump's immigration plan

When politicians talk about “immigration reform” they mean: amnesty, cheap labor and open borders. The Schumer-Rubio immigration bill was nothing more than a giveaway to the corporate patrons who run both parties.

Real immigration reform puts the needs of working people first – not wealthy globetrotting donors. We are the only country in the world whose immigration system puts the needs of other nations ahead of our own. That must change. Here are the three core principles of real immigration reform:

1. A nation without borders is not a nation. There must be a wall across the southern border.

2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.

3. A nation that does not serve its own citizens is not a nation. Any immigration plan must improve jobs, wages and security for all Americans.

No candidates have ever posted on line anymore specifics than that. However, he has gotten very specific.

Just a bunch of general principles completely devoid of specifics.

Sorta like those "CHANGES" promised by the ZERO in his '08 campaign, huh?

Or having to pass a bill "to know what's in it"!

Would be interesting to know how many votes he would have gotten had he been more specific BEFORE having to pull the levers.:sleeping_2:

I hope Donald has tightened his security. The PTB aren't going to let anyone interfere with their plan to destroy our sovereignty and implement their global government. They've moved their goal post quite far under the reins of the Bushies, Clintons and Obama I doubt very much they'll let an upstart like Donald Trump scale back what they've accomplished so far.

The fact that The Donald consulted with Senator Jeff Sessions on immigration, moves him up a notch in my book. :applause:

That was impressive. I also look forward to hearing a military plan assisted by some of America's top military minds, now retired.

I think the Donald is intelligent and savvy enough to surround himself with the best possible people in all areas concerning this nation, and letting them do the heavy lifting while he gets the praise. That is called, DELEGATING. The man didn't get where he is without learning to delegate before you negotiate.

It is too bad that the GOP is not considering the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions!

The Donald continues to repeat that he is well-educated, having studied at the Wharton School of Finance.

Wow. You did it. It took some time, but you finally did it.

Belched pure rhetoric in response to a conservative plan to protect America without even making it try to sound intelligent.

I want to be fair, though. I know it's hard work to maintain an informed conservative aura when defending liberal principles. You've done it for a long time and I commend your stamina.

It's okay ITL. If being a conservative means you are put in the same boat as someone who has a racist representing flag as an avatar, please be a liberal.

Other than building a wall, "that Mexico will pay for", what is Trump's immigration plan? Anyone?

BTW, I'd like to know the specifics on how he'd get Mexico to pay for the wall.

Trump supporters may post links to his specific plans.

Make Mexico Pay For The Wall

Defend The Laws And Constitution Of The United States

Triple the number of ICE officers.

Nationwide e-verify

Mandatory return of all criminal aliens

Detention—not catch-and-release

Defund sanctuary cities

Enhanced penalties for overstaying a visa

Cooperate with local gang task forces

End birthright citizenship

Put American Workers First

Increase prevailing wage for H-1Bs

Requirement to hire American workers first

End welfare abuse

Jobs program for inner city youth.

Refugee program for American children.

Immigration moderation

If you actually read the link provided the answer is right there:

Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards – of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options]. We will not be taken advantage of anymore.

Trump supporters may post links to his specific plans.

Seriously, where do people on this board get the idea that they somehow deserve this little attitude they give other people with whom they disagree with? What about you makes you deserve your attitude?

It's ok. He's got Zaac.

All the info is in your links. This reaction by ITL is ridiculous. I just don't get it.

I get it. Maybe we should all spend less time trying to demonize that which we disagree with but cannot show any real reason to disagree.
