Donald Trump's Real Problem Is With White People

Donald Trump needs to stop the bleeding.

Since the two parties' conventions, he has plummeted in the polls — both nationally and in the states.

His campaign knows this. His new campaign manager, KellyAnne Conway, is a veteran Republican pollster well aware of Trump's deficiencies with certain voting groups.

Trump's Appeal To Black Voters May Repeat Past Mistakes Of GOP Outreach

For Many Black Voters, Trump's 'What Do You Have To Lose?' Plea Isn't Enough

That's why there's been a concerted effort in the Trump campaign to reach out to black and Hispanic voters, even if it's been poorly received by many nonwhites.

But the outreach might not be entirely to gain the support of minority voters, who are deeply skeptical of Trump and indicate they are supporting Hillary Clinton overwhelmingly.

It might be aimed, in large measure, at white people, in particular suburban whites with college degrees. You know, people who traditionally vote Republican. They might be persuadable, given their past voting history, but they don't want to vote for someone who is viewed as a racist or a bigot.

I turned to listen to one of the urban talk shows on satellite radio after he made that comment. The black callers were going off on his stupidity and listing in depth the things they have to lose under a Trump Presidency.

Frankly, I think he's made too many disparaging comments about Blacks and Hispanics to really be serious about garnering their support.

I mean for Pete's sake. If you're gonna reach out to folks, stop talking down about them in front of audiences of people where they aren't represented.

Well when old white thuggish men who support Trump are sucker punching folks, they might be fair game.
One incident. There are hundreds of photos and videos of left wingers assaulting Trump supporters. Seems the left just can't tolerate opinions other than their own.

One event counts. SO it would appear right wing Trump supporters can't tolerate opinions other than their own either.

There are no accounts of Trump supporters going to Hillary events and shutting down traffic, jumping on cars, throwing garbage at people as they tried to enter/leave the events.

And?

There are plenty of crazy Trump supporter antics. Again we've got the sucker punch. We've got the Nazi antics. We've got the pushing and shoving, and kicking of folks they didn't want at their "events". The pepper spraying of other protesters. A protester was pushed down and punched and kicked at a Trump Alabama event.

From the looks of, the bigoted Trump supporters don't have the guts to go to a Hillary event because they know they'd probably get the stew beat out of them.

Oct. 23, 2015, in Miami. A man at a Trump rally knocked down and kicked a Latino protester.

Oct. 14, 2015, in Richmond, Virginia. Individuals at a Trump rally shoved and took signs from a group of immigration activists. One spit in a protester's face.
Nov. 21, 2015, in Birmingham, Alabama. A black protester at a Trump rally was punched, kicked, and, according to the Washington Post, briefly choked.
Dec. 3, 2015, in New York City. A security guard took a sign from and struck an immigration activist during a protest after a Trump event.

March 19, 2016, in Tucson, Arizona. A protester at a Trump rally was sucker-punched and kicked by a 32-year-old man who was then arrested on an assault charge.

April 26, 2016, in Anaheim, California. Pro- and anti-Trump protesters scuffled outside a city council meeting that was considering a resolution denouncing the candidate; individuals on both sides of the issue appear to have used pepper spray as a weapon during the confrontation.

And....the common theme with all these incidents is that anti-Trump people showed up looking to start trouble. Either inside Trump events, or outside where people were trying to enter. None of these happened at Clinton rallies.

Nobody should be surprised which poster favors mob action over the election process of supporting one's own choice of a candidate and letting others do the same.
