The subject will be so broad, do you really think it will be that great of a debate?

Evidently, as it draws closer, even Nye is starting to back off his claims about the inability of Creationists to defend their position from science.

I think it's going to be a bloodbath and Nye knows it.

You have a link? I'd like to see that.

Who cares? Honestly, you think one side or the other is going admit "defeat"? Of course they won't.

I care because I think it's funny that somebody has spent that much time telling the world that somebody is an idiot and then appears to back down when they stand up to him.

Although, I am not a fan of Bill Nye, I hope he presents a fair and reasonable case for science. I suspect though that the experience in "debate" by Mr. Ham in front of the home crowd will prove a bit much. In the end, debates like this do very little to sway opinions or positions, as most are come into such with carefully and comfortably carved places at the "origins" table.

PS: The biggest reason I am not a fan of Mr. Nye is because of his "non-theist"
perhaps even atheist position (although I am not completely certain on that matter)

I have been searching for references to where Mr. Nye referred to Mr. Ham as an idiot. Can you help me?

I can't believe I have to walk you through this. He didn't literally say "idiot". It's a figure of speech meaning that he talks down to Creationists and is very arrogant regarding his superiority over them.

Good. Maybe you can explain to the rest of us why he makes unprovoked personal attacks and sends insulting PMs.

Don't think that would be profitable, as you don't seem to care for any other explanations or positions I espouse. My guess is it would be a fruitless effort.
