Dr. Fauci recommends wearing goggles to prevent catching the coronavirus

I do that at Safeway, order online and curbside pickup. It is okay, the only thing I don't like about it is it ALWAYS claims to be out of ice cream, and just subtracts the costs from the total even if I want a substitute. Still, it's better than going in the store wearing some lame face mask that I shouldn't be wearing or giving my doctor's "excuse" to every clerk and customer.

And it does make sense that something is better than nothing, but that also depends - if the mask decreases your chances of catching it by two percent, that's easy to argue that it's not really worth the trouble. I think it's more effective than that, but who knows? Now, there is a psychological effect in play, you tend to be more careful if masked and it is possible to mental to go physical and vice-versa. That being said, I don't wear one because it, ummmmm, suffocates me. The science behind this is till up in the air:

Are masks effective at preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2?

they have turned into a virtue-signaling tool for far too many.

The govt has induced this mass hysteria about cloth masks to cover up for the fact that Americans do not have the proper N95 masks.

Globalism and cheap labor exacerbated this pandemic.

Saw it on a news website. They painted her as a weird witch doctor like person.

There were two women doctors I heard about. One was a pastor and doctor, and they found sermons she had preached about demons and how they can affect you in your dreams.

I was referring to the other one, who gave a reasoned plea for hydroxychloroquine usage and how it is so safe that it is an over the counter medication in many countries—usually the ones where malaria is a problem.

And she made the case that the government should NOT be banning a well known and effective treatment, and not allowing doctors to prescribe it for their patients—coming between them on their health care.

So you think that cloth masks are effective against the Chinese virus?
I don't think, I know masks are of benefit to slow the spread of a virus, some masks better than others but beneficial none-the-less. Such should be common sense...

If it is of benefit there is some effectiveness. Duh... Do you throw out the baby with the bathwater?

Maybe you should define what you mean by benefit. I have no idea what you mean.

Do you think that we can substitute cloth masks for other measures in Chinese Communist Party virus hospital wards & nursing homes? Would that be effective for you?
