What are ye blokes opinion(s) about the dialogue these two Drs. had in Memphis a few months back.
For those who don't know about this, several months ago, the Christians and Muslims gathered, first at Grace Bible Church and allowed Dr. Qadhi to explain Muslim beliefs and the next night they met at a fellowship hall(I think that's what they called it) and this was where the Muslims meet to worship; and they allowed Dr. White to explain the Christians' beliefs. Dr. Qadhi actually asked Dr. White to explain the Trinity to them.
Afterwards, each night they had fellowship afterwards, and some Muslims even asked Dr. White to explain things to them. He then asked three Muslims did they feel welcomed and one elderly Muslim, with tears in his eyes, said he never thought this was possible. And each night, they sat together as the two Drs. spoke, not apart from each other like they do in debates.
I see nothing but good coming from this. They are humans, too, and they need to hear the gospel as much as the unconverted American does.
Brannon Howse and his cronies have blasted Dr. White for what he did. Sadly, some Reformed folk did as well. I am at a loss here. Why do they feel he did anything wrong?
Instead of hearing "go back where you came from", or "leave our town", they need to hear the gospel of the Christ.
