We have military bases all over the pacific to strangle Chinese shipping. China is the number one economy shipping goods all over the globe. We are trying to stay number 1 by crippling China. That's the other reason for the Panama Canal. They will do business with China. Greenland will do business with China. But if America owns Greenland we will tell China no ports. You cant use the Panama canal. This unfortunately is not Trump, but American policy.

Why would China want to block shipping? They are the ones who sell their goods all over the world. That would be stupid for them to block their own shipping and trade. The Chinese are prospering because they manufacture and sell goods all over the world in case you did not know. China has become number 1 in the world. And they do not want war. They want to manufacture goods and then sell them to the world. They used to sell mostly to us but everyone else wants to do business with China.
