If you have seen these verses, and I believe you have, the truly saved are few in number. We have to be careful about putting stumbling blocks in front of our brothers and sisters lest they fall.

    Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)
21: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

    Luke 6:46 (KJV)
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

    1 Corinthians 8:9 (KJV)
But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

    Luke 17:1 (KJV)
Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

    Romans 11:9 (KJV)
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompence unto them:

I take wine at some of the Lord's Supper's I have participated in, and love to go wine tasting. I rarely get a chance to do that, though.

That is actually a compilation of several threads, when all the posts relating to the subject of the so-called "Millennial Exclusion" were removed and placed in the Archives, there.

I'd never even heard of Millenial Exclusion until I came here; as far as I was concerned, 'ME' was something debilitating that white-collar workers sometimes get if they return to work too soon after a viral infection.

[It is] good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor [any thing] whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Pants on women cause some to stumble...
Eating junk food in front of somebody with a weight problem causes some to stumble...
Reading an NIV causes some to stumble...
Cutting the grass on Sundays causes some to stumble...
Men wearing baseball hats causes some to stumble...
Women wearing bathing suits causes some to stumble...

You get the idea. Why do we pick and choose what we avoid that makes "someone stumble"? That verse is misused, IMO.

If you claim that verse, then you must also acknowledge that those who stumble (take offense at another Christian consuming alcohol in moderation) are weak in faith and do not understand their liberty in Christ.

And that completely invalidates your position from a scriptural standpoint!

Great point, it is not that we arean't tempted, it is that we don't yield to the temptation. Anyone can be sinless if not tempted, it is the one who was tempted and remained undefiled that is kingdom worthy...

Where in Scripture did Christ tell us to "Go and sin some more"? I can't seem to find it anywhere in my good ol' KJV.

News flash!! We do not have a liberty to sin. If we had a liberty to sin, there would be no need of the Holy Spirit to show us the truth... no need for the Word of God to tell us to walk according to His Word.

I don't drink becayse I don't want sorrows, woes or contentions.
Many people have problems they would not have to put up with if they would leave the firewater out of their life.

    Are you serious? (John 8:11)

11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
