Driving and Texting

If you or your grandfather wants to kill himself through stupid driving behavior that's his and your business. The problem is that he or you may take me out, take my family out, or some other innocent person. Freedom does not give you or anyone else the right to endanger the lives of other people while exercising that freedom.

If my elderly Father wants to drive down the street talking on the phone, reading a book, or wearing a hockey mask, I think he has the right to do so. Unlike so many who want to limit our freedoms these days, he served in the military to secure our freedoms. If some Marxist freedom-hater is worried about his driving, I'd say they'd better buy a bigger car or stay off the sidewalk!

Maybe ya'll just missed that this was a little tongue-in-cheek perhaps? I mean, "stay of the sidewalk?"
Like Ron White said, the only time they stopped him was when they were stopping everyone driving on that particular sidewalk, and that's profiling, and profiling's wrong.:tongue3:
