Just wondering how SBC'ers look at McCall. From where I'm sitting he appears to be over to the left. :D So I would not find it any great surprise that his niece is being ordained.

Was Timothy a bishop? Was he married? I really do not know, but would like to find out.

Give me 2 or 3 days, I'll find out.

The only things I could find out about Timothy, most of us already know. The Bible doesn't refer to him as a bishop, more of an evangelist/missionary,co-author of some epistles, along with Paul. No reference to him being married, that I could find, maybe somebody else knows. But my answer would have to be no, he was not a bishop.

Actually, women are "pastors" even in the most conservative of Baptist churches.

Have you ever been to a children's church service? Usually the pastor's wife leads it.
How about sunday school for the lower grades?

At the end of the Day, we may see that God will have used the ladies to bring more souls into heaven through their preaching (oops, I mean teaching) than the preaching of their husbands.

God in His wisdom has given the evangelism of these young and tender hearts over to women.

But, yes men get the tough cases.

    Humanly speaking of course.
